Clive Davis Started Process For Whitney Houston's Live Album

Whitney Houston's mentor Clive Davis revealed over the Grammy Awards weekend that a live album of the late diva will be released this year. "I really want everyone to know ... exactly why during her time she was considered the greatest contemporary singer in the world," Davis told the LA Times. Houston passed away two years ago during the Grammy Award show weekend. A posthumous greatest hit album was released featuring eighteen songs from her music catalog in the wake of her death. Davis is reviewing numerous recordings of Houston's performances in an effort to compile the live album. No date has been set for the project's release, but it is expected to drop this year.
