"Caught Out There," "Bossy" and "Acapella" singer Kelis is back and ready to release new music thanks to a recently signed record deal.
According to Billboard, the "Been Given A Morning" singer has signed a deal with UK indie label Ninja Tune and will release an album titled "Food" in 2014.
A follow up to "Flesh-Tone" (2010), "Food" is expected to include a mixture of soul and alternative sounds.
"I'm really happy to be partnering with Ninja Tune on my new record. This is the album I've wanted to make for a long time and I want the team around me to be as excited and energetic about it as I am," Kelis said in a statement. "I'm also very happy to be working with some of the most creative people in the industry."
