Carrie Underwood, Lopez Join Lady Gaga on Forbes' Top Earning Women in 2013 List

Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Lopez have made Forbes' Top Earning Women in 2013 list. Joining leaders Madonna ($125 million) and Lady Gaga ($80 million), who made number one and number two on the coveted list, Underwood is the only "American Idol" winner to reach the tally. "Carrie Underwood, the only former contestant, ranks ninth with $31 million. She's come a long way since winning the show in 2005. Her latest album, "Blown Away," went platinum and she played over 100 shows in our scoring period," reports Forbes. Also connected to "American Idol," Jennifer Lopez made the list, coming in at no.5. Post American Idol and prior to the new season of 'Idol,' Lopez raked in $45 million. Beyonce ($53 million), Mariah Carey ($29 million) and Nicki Minaj ($29 million) also made the top ten this year.
