Beyonce's 'Drunk In Love' and 'Blow' Soar At Radio, Deemed Singles

Beyonce is headed for a no.1 debut on the albums chart in the U.S. this week, but what about singles? According to Billboard, the "Beyonce" diva is going with two singles and they're already soaring at radio. First up is "Drunk In Love," a fiery track featuring Jay-Z. Moving at Rhythmic radio, the song drew 311 first-day plays across seventy stations monitored by Nielsen BDS. Boston and New York led with plays. Second up is Beyonce's Top 40/Pop single "Blow," which, according to Billboard, garnered 87 first-day plays. Denver, Los Angeles and Chicago led with plays. Both singles are expected to be serviced to radio officially this week, according to a Billboard report. "Starting next week, it will be two -- the Pharrell Williams-produced “Blow” at Top 40, and the Jay Z-assisted “Drunk In Love” at R&B/Hip Hop, starting next week, according to multiple sources who confirmed plans to Billboard. “XO,” a rousing ballad penned by Ryan Tedder and The-Dream, will follow later in 2014 as the second single at Top 40," reports Billboard. "Not that what just happened is about one song -- even to radio programmers, many of whom started playing “Beyonce” in its entirety on Friday."
