Beyonce Projected To Hold No.1, Sell Another 260k or More

Beyonce is likely to enjoy the Holidays with a second and possibly third week at number one as her self-titled set continues to soar with music listeners. According to trusted sources, the "Drunk In Love" and "XO" led album is not only set for another week at no.1 this week, but it is estimated to sell another 260-280k. As previously reported, the album opened at no.1 on the Billboard 200 last week, selling a total of 617,000 copies first week. These new numbers would push the album toward the 900,000 mark in the U.S. alone and would make Beyonce's album one of the best selling albums of the year. Sales going forward also include physical copies of the album, which was initially released through an iTunes exclusive in digital format. In related news, Mary J. Blige is expected to see serious gains for her Holiday effort, "A Mary Christmas." The album is expected to sell another 55-65,000 copies by week's end. Due to the Christmas Holiday official numbers won't be revealed until Thursday or Friday this week.
