We have a first look at Andre "3000" Benjamin (Outkast) as Jimi Hendrix in the biopic "All Is By My Side."
Directed by John Ridley (12 Years A Slave), the pic is due to premiere as SXSW this month and will cover a portion of Hendrix's life.
It's unclear if the film will make it to theaters later this year due to a series of issues, including Hendrix's estate. As widely reported, the family did not approve the use of his original songs in the film and has slammed the director and the production team for moving ahead with the project without their permission.
